Never miss
another HVAC call

A phone answerer for HVAC shops, built from your website in four minutes. It answers, books the tune-up, puts a gas smell or a no-heat call through to your on-call tech, and texts back the caller who hung up. You hear it ring your own cell before you pay anything.

No website? Answer 8 questions instead. Switching from another AI service?

Ships listening for “no heat, elderly at home”, with HVAC job types, diagnostic and tune-up pricing, and booking rules already loaded. You change whatever you disagree with.

Or call it now: (817) 339-6593. It asks which trade you want to hear. Try to stump it.

Why switch

Botspire doesn’t just answer your HVAC phone. It builds your receptionist automatically, proves it works before you go live, and shows you the revenue. And it plugs into the systems you already use instead of replacing them.

We are the phone layer. We do not build the OS.

Three promises

Three promises
01

It builds itself

No blank script editor, ever. We read your website and load the HVAC template: services, diagnostic and tune-up prices, service area, hours, emergency rules, booking rules. Then we hand you about ten review cards to proofread.

10 cards to proofread, not 40 fields to fill

02

It proves itself

The platform calls your cell so you hear your own agent before a single card is entered. Then Break-It Mode throws mumblers, interrupters, angry customers and 2am gas smells at it and hands you a pass/fail report.

Hear it and stress-test it before you pay

03

It chases revenue

Inbound answering plus outbound recovery. Missed-call text-back and 60-second web-lead callbacks. Reported in booked jobs and dollars, with the reason every lost lead got away.

Dollars on the dashboard, not call counts

How it works

Four minutes, start to finish
  1. 0:0001

    Paste your link

Website URL or Google Business listing. We scrape it, load the HVAC template, and draft the whole agent. No site? Eight questions instead.

  2. 0:4002

    Proofread ten cards

Services and prices, service area, hours, emergency rules, booking rules, transfer number, voice, language, SMS confirmations. Everything pre-filled. You correct, you don’t compose.

  3. 2:1003

    Take the First Call

    Free, pre-payment

We call your cell. That’s your agent on the line. The actual one, with your prices and your hours, on a call you can hang up on. Nothing is locked in yet.

  4. 3:0504

    Run Break-It Mode

    Proof before live

Six simulated callers attack it: the mumbler, the interrupter, the angry customer, the 2am gas smell, the mind-changer, the price-shopper. You get a pass/fail report with one-tap fixes.

  5. 4:0005

    Point your number at it

Keep your number and forward it (we generate your carrier’s exact codes), port it in, or take a new local one. Conditional forwarding means it only picks up when you can't.

What happens when it rings at 7pm

One call, end to end

You are in an attic, at dinner, or asleep. This is the whole thing that happens without you.

  1. 1
    7:02pm

    Somebody calls, and it answers

One second, any hour, every line at once. In English or Spanish, depending on who is speaking.

  2. 2
    7:02pm

It works out whether this is an emergency

A gas smell, a CO alarm, a burning smell, no heat with somebody vulnerable in the house. If they say those words, the call transfers live to your on-call phone and a text goes with it, so the person picking up already knows what they are walking into. A no-cooling call with nobody at risk gets the soonest real slot instead.

  3. 3
    7:04pm

    Otherwise it books the job

It reads your calendar during the call and writes the appointment into it. No double-booking, no callback to arrange a time you already had free.

  4. 4
    7:04pm

They get a text confirming it

From your own number, while they are still holding the phone.

  5. 5
    If they hung up first

    It texts them back anyway

Seconds after the line drops. They had a problem thirty seconds ago and they still have it, and the next number they try is your competitor.

  6. 6
If they came from your site

It calls them back in 60 seconds

They fill in your form or use the chat box, and their phone rings before they have closed the tab.

  7. 7
    After the jobPro and up

    It asks for the review

One text, once, and never to somebody who was unhappy on the phone.

  8. 8
    That night

You see what it was worth

Booked work, calls answered while you were out, and what the ones you missed would have been worth. The dashboard counts dollars, not just calls.

What you see

The morning after
botspireai.com/dashboard

Why the fast parts matter

Two things on the list above are about seconds: the missed-call text and the 60-second callback. They are there because of one rule.

Speed to lead wins. Reach a new lead inside sixty seconds, or they're already talking to whoever did.
Alex Hormozi's speed-to-lead ruleReply inside five minutes and you're 21× more likely to qualify the lead than at thirty. Most businesses take a day.

So the answerer picks up in under two seconds, the text goes out while the caller is still holding the phone, and a web lead’s phone rings before they have closed your site.

Proof before you go live

Before you pay

Try to
break it

Every competitor asks you to pay first and find out later. We call your answerer with the worst callers an HVAC shop gets, then hand you an inspection report. Pass, fail, and a one-tap fix for anything that failed.

Then it sits seven HVAC vocabulary tests: a heat pump in defrost, a frozen evaporator coil, a failed capacitor, a blank thermostat, a rooftop package unit. If it asks a heat pump owner where the furnace is, you hear it before a customer does.

Agent testing is a whole separate company in this market. Here it is a button in your setup, and it runs again every time you change something.

It already speaks HVAC

Built for HVAC first

It already speaks
HVAC

A generic agent hears “I smell gas” and takes a message. Ours knows what that is at 2am, because the HVAC template ships with the emergency words, the job types and their durations, the seasonal questions and the booking defaults for heating and cooling work.

Then you change whatever you disagree with. Every line of it is yours to edit.

How it works for HVAC companies →
It is tested to understand
  • A split system: outdoor condenser, indoor air handler, and never a question about whether it is a window unit
  • A heat pump blowing cool air on heat, and that a defrost cycle does that without meaning it is broken
  • Ice on the indoor coil with water on the floor: switch it off so it can thaw, then book
  • An outdoor unit that hums but will not start: stop pushing the fan, switch it off, book the visit
  • A blank thermostat: check the breaker and the float switch before booking blind
  • A mini-split head unit dripping: the condensate drain, not the ducts it does not have
  • A rooftop package unit: one cabinet, no indoor unit, and a note that roof access is needed

7 scenarios, run in Break-It Mode before you go live and again every time you change something.

Run HVAC and plumbing? Pro gives you an answerer for each, side by side, each with its own emergency rules.

Questions
owners ask

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. The default is that you keep it and forward it. Conditional forwarding means it only rings us when you’re busy, don’t pick up, or are closed. We generate the exact codes for your carrier and give you a button to test that they worked. If you'd rather port the number to us, we'll do that too, with an honest timeline and forwarding to cover the gap.

Will it tell people it’s an AI?

If they ask, yes. Honest disclosure is built in and isn’t a setting you can quietly switch off; it is enforced in the database rather than by a checkbox. There is no recording-consent line to read, because your agent doesn’t record the audio at all. What you get afterwards is the transcript it kept as it spoke.

What happens when it doesn’t know something?

It takes a message rather than inventing an answer, flags the call as one where it got stuck, and shows you what it was asked. That question usually becomes a knowledge base entry in one tap. That is the learning loop.

I already use another AI answering service.

That’s a named path in the wizard, not an afterthought. Bring the number over, we rebuild the agent from your site in minutes, and Break-It Mode runs the same scenarios against both so you can see the difference before you cancel anything.

Will it double-book me?

No. When a field service system is connected, that system owns the calendar. We book into it and mirror the result here. We never hold a second, competing source of truth.

Can it cold-call a list I bought?

No, and there’s no setting for it. Outbound only reaches your own customers and leads who gave documented consent. Quiet hours are enforced in the recipient’s timezone, and opt-outs are global across your account.

What happens if I go over my minutes?

Nothing gets cut off, and you have two ways to pay for it. Do nothing and you pay your plan’s overage rate: $0.15, $0.13 or $0.12 a minute. Or buy a pack of minutes up front from your billing page, which is cheaper per minute than any of those, doesn’t expire, and is only spent once your included minutes are gone. Either way there’s no interaction cap and no concurrency limit, so a July heat wave doesn’t put your phone in a queue.

Does it text, and what does a text cost?

Yes. Missed-call text-back, a text after a callback nobody answered, booking confirmations, and an inbox where you reply yourself or let the texting agent answer when nobody’s free. Texts go out from your Botspire line: if you forward your existing number to us rather than porting it, that is not the number your customer dialled, so every first text names your business before anything else. Every plan includes a pool of texts, 300 on Starter, shared across your answerers like minutes; past that it’s a few cents a text. One thing to know: US carriers require the company behind a texting number to be registered first. It’s optional, takes a few days, and until it clears nothing is sent, so you’re never billed for texts that couldn’t arrive.

Will this wake me up more at night?

Only if you tell it to. The first setup question is whether you actually send someone out after hours: for everything, for a short list you tick (gas, CO, no heat with somebody vulnerable), or never. Most shops pick the list. Anything not on it is booked for the first slot in the morning and the caller is told exactly when you’ll see it. Somebody who smells gas is told to get out and ring 911 before anything else, whatever you picked. It stops you losing jobs while you sleep; it does not create work at night.

Does it know the difference between a heat pump and a furnace?

Yes. Before you go live you can run it through seven HVAC vocabulary scenarios in Break-It Mode, including a heat pump in defrost, a frozen evaporator coil, a failed capacitor and a rooftop package unit. If it asks a heat pump owner where the furnace is, you hear it before a customer does.

I run HVAC and plumbing. Does it do both?

Yes, as two answerers. Each trade has its own emergency rules, so a burst pipe and a gas smell are handled by an answerer that knows which is which. Pro includes three answerers and three numbers, so a combined shop runs an HVAC answerer and a plumbing answerer side by side, in one account, on one dashboard.

How long until it’s actually live?

Most owners are through the wizard in about four minutes and live the same morning. The one thing outside our control is your carrier’s forwarding, which is why there’s a test button for it.
