Botspire vs Rosie: what each plan actually includes

This is a comparison written by one of the two companies in it. Read it that way. Every claim about Rosie below is taken from Rosie's pricing page on the date at the bottom, and the section on what Rosie does better is there because a comparison that concedes nothing is not worth your time.

What do the plans include, side by side?

Rosie's wording for the two booking tiers is "Send appointment links by text" on Professional and "Book appointments directly on your calendar" on Scale. Live call transfers are listed on Scale and Growth and not on Professional.

What does Rosie do better?

• Track record. Rosie has been answering calls for longer and has more public reviews. Botspire launched in 2026. If you weight years in market heavily, Rosie wins that column outright.
• Waterfall transfers on Growth. Rosie's $299 plan tries several numbers in turn until somebody answers. Botspire's on-call rota does the same job on every plan, but Rosie shipped theirs first.
• Custom message scenarios. Rosie's Growth plan advertises unlimited custom message-taking scenarios. Our message-taking is shaped by your trade template and your own emergency words rather than by scenario scripts, which is simpler to set up and less flexible.

What does Botspire do that Rosie does not, at the same price?

• Booking and transfer on the cheapest plan. At $59, Botspire books into your calendar and puts an emergency through live. On Rosie those two features start at $149.
• Trade templates with emergency triage. An HVAC answerer knows a gas smell from a no-cooling call and a plumbing answerer knows a burst pipe from a dripping tap, because each trade ships with an emergency lexicon and triage rules you can edit. You choose which conditions wake somebody at night.
• Missed-call text-back on every plan. A caller who hangs up on the greeting gets a text that names your business and asks what is going on. That caller had a problem thirty seconds ago and still has it.
